Men have always had their own ideas… I wonder whose idea it was to send spies into the PROMISED LAND?

AND WALK BY SIGHT AND NOT BY FAITH? WHAT HAPPENED WHEN THEY HAD WALKED BY SIGHT AND NOT BY FAITH? THEY MESSED UP!

God gave Mosses a Charge! He told them to lead his People out…. And then to lead them into the Promised land… He lead them by the Pillar of fire and by the cloud… What more did they need but that?

If you want a new preacher, pray for me! God will make me new. And he'll make you new. Amen. Let's let God be in charge, let's seek his will as a church… let's follow his will his way. The average church is run by a board, and shame

It would a lot easier in a lot of ways to Church turn my charge over to a committee but that wouldn't be right with God!

Ezekiel 44:8 And ye have not kept the charge of mine holy things: but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves.

Ezekiel 34:2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.

You have to spirit filled to serve… any carnal, lost business man can spend money… now come and fix what's broken, come and win the lost, live right and be an example of the believers, come and pray with the preacher…. If that's what a deacon is most are so interested…

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, (word oversee is the word Bishop) to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

1 Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

There is nothing wrong with seeking counsel, nothing wrong with getting advice… but the majority was usually wrong! We like to walk by sight, we like to be lead by sight, we need to learn to pray and seek the face of ALMIGHTY GOD AND BE LEAD OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD! Amen.

We're getting awful close to the summer…. Folks every one needs a day rest…. It's good… God rested on the 7th day. The Sabbath day was given as a day of Rest…. But what were they to do on the Sabbath day? Worship God! Serve God…

Is. 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I don't think there is anything in the world more beautiful than the Ocean! Oh, but I'm going to tell you going to a beach and looking at girls in their bikini's and boys with their shirts off will not relax you… it'll fill your head with lust, and it'll make you crazy! When Lust hath conceived it bringeth forth DEATH!

Here is what we need to do if we want to relax

Job 17:9 The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

Are you weak, are you tired… well you can take a weak or two off on God or you do what God said to do… Cry out to God, have a sweet hour of prayer…. See if he'll strengthen You!

Psalms 138:3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

We are going to be tired… we are going to be worn out… but the way of Relaxing and Refreshing is found in the Word of God… not with man! When we are tired and worn and we trust God that's when God's power is going to be manifest… laying out of Church, and laying aside the things of God and running to lake or the Mt.'s is not how to get Refreshed!

2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
